The globalization reduces international economic inequality, i.e. catch up of emerging countries, and expands domestic economic inequality, i.e. increase of relative poverty in a several advanced countries, at the same time. How should we solve this trade-off between the international and domestic inequalities? On the other hand, it is highly desired to avoid the reduction of bio and cultural diversities due to the globalization. What do we need to promote unique evolution in local to conserve the bio and cultural diversities?
We analyze big data on global interdependence caused by the flows of commodity, money, and human using network science approach in order to acquire various different views of the globalization and to clarify the fact on isolation of communities.Finally, we explain policy recommendation in the united nation toward the evidence-based policy making.
On the issue of commodity flow, we select supply-chain network, isolation in industry, and resource flows and stocks. On the issue of monetary flow, we select ownership network, value added network, and profit shifting.
On the issue of human flow, we select linkage of ethnic groups, immigrant assimilation, and refugees. Based on the obtained view of the globalization and the isolation, we discuss the development of the isolation index using machine learning. Finally, we explain policy recommendation in the united nation toward the evidence-based policy making.
